SEARCH and RESCUE

Shortly after midday today (June 22nd), a report was received regarding an aircraft landing on water (ditching) approximately 10 miles from Northwest Point, Providenciales.

The aircraft, which had departed from the United States, experienced engine failure.

Two individuals are reportedly on board. Their status remains unknown as search and rescue teams, both locally and internationally, continue their efforts.
