Suspected Homicide

Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force Serious Crime Unit are currently investigating reports of a homicide in Dock Yard, Providenciales.

Calls to the Police Control Room at around 11:50 pm yesterday (September 20) indicated an unresponsive male was lying in bushes.

Officers responded and found a male who is yet to be identified with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The RT&CIPF is asking anyone with information that may help in this investigation to contact the closest police station, 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 8477 to provide any information anonymously.
